ClearSwim unstabilized granular chlorine is a pool sanitizer that is designed for both regular pool maintenance and shock treatments. It's a concentrated, water-soluble chlorine product, typically calcium hypochlorite, that dissolves quickly and provides a fast-acting source of chlorine to sanitize and disinfect pool water. It's unstabilized, meaning it doesn't contain cyanuric acid, which acts as a stabilizer against UV degradation. This makes it ideal for situations where a quick chlorine boost is needed or when you want to avoid the potential for chlorine lock (when cyanuric acid levels become too high and limit chlorine's effectiveness).
